I remember when I was young; my mom encouraged me to keep a journal. So every night I would write what I did that day and I would also draw in my journal. Some days I didn’t feel like writing, but my mom said the only way I can get good at writing, drawing, playing soccer, basketball, cooking, or just about anything in life is to PRACTICE. And you know what, she was right!! Because I had a journal, I became a better writer and artist. I’m glad my mom asked me to keep a journal. In fact I still practice writing and drawing everyday, plus its fun!
